THE UNCOMPLICATED VERSION
From spreadsheet to physical labels in four steps.
- 1
Download the closest CSV and open it in Sheets, Excel, Numbers, or your preferred editor.
- 2
Replace the example IDs. Keep each ID short enough to read from three feet away.
- 3
Import the CSV, confirm the ID and small-text columns, then generate the labels locally.
- 4
Print one 20-item test before introducing 2,000 labels and a new workplace religion.
COLUMN MAP
Use only the fields that make the label useful.
| Column | Required? | What it does |
|---|---|---|
label_id | Yes | Prints the readable ID and becomes the QR value when no destination is supplied. |
record_url | No | Opens that exact existing record when someone scans the label. |
small_text | No | Adds a short category, location, or purpose beneath the ID. |
The browser reads the CSV and makes the QR images locally. Measurement records only bounded events such as a page view, template download, label count, or product click. It does not store your IDs, URLs, label text, or file contents.
READY TO PRINT?
Drop the CSV into the generator.
Check the column mapping, generate up to 500 labels, then print or save the standard sheets as a PDF.
WHEN THE SPREADSHEET STOPS BEING ENOUGH
The label can open a living record.
Tagnetix adds status, location, photos, custody, and history behind the scan. The free CSV files and label generator work without creating an account.
